Day 1 : VIENTIANE- ARRIVAL
You are warmly welcomed by our tour guide at the Airport and transfer to your hotel in Vientiane. After a long journey, you can relax on the riverside of the Mekong and have a well-deserved rest in your comfortable room.

Day 2: VIENTIANE- ARRIVAL
After breakfast, we get around the city to visit :
- the oldest temple in Vientiane Wat Sisaket famous for its cloister wall housing thousands of Buddha images (16th century)
 - the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and its Museum housing many Lao and Khmer treasures such as a gilded throne and bronze frog drums 
- the spectacular shape and size of the glittering Golden Stupa of That Luang - the symbol of Laos’ Independence : Patuxai (formerly Anousavari) the gate of Victory also named the Arc de Triomphe as it resemble to the monument in Paris (except the five towers on the top).
 Next leg our itinerary: flight to Luang Prabang and first night at your hotel in this ancient city.

Day 3 : VIENTIANE - LUANG PRABANG
Start the visit of Luang Prabang with the Royal Temple of Laos: Wat Xieng Thong where the kings of Setthathirath Dynasty were crowned (from 16th century); Wat Mai monastery is also noteworthy with its five-tiered roof and the magnificent gilded relief front veranda depicting stunningly scenes from the epic Ramayana Legend; and the oldest of them Wat Vissoum the Lotus Temple built in 1513 next to Wat Aham a formerly animist Pagoda.
Then climb easily Mount Phousi (just 150 meter high) by stairs engraved in the rock to reach on the top the famous Wat Chom Si. Here the custom is to release birds from their cage (and get good luck for this spiritual action). And get a 360° panoramic view of the whole city of Luang Prabang. 
You can also attend a “Baci ceremony” practiced to seek harmony in human being and protection from the spirits avoiding unbalance of the soul which might lead to an illness. Baci is often held before wedding celebration or to welcome guests. Before sleeping, let’s go for shopping at The Night Market or just have a glance on the stuff often hand-made by ethnic groups.

Day 4: Around LUANG PRABANG
Early in the morning, you will get the opportunity to feel the spiritual sense of the Buddhists monks walking for the “Tam Boon” ceremony (making merits by giving food to the monks).                                      
After breakfast, embark on a traditional “long tail” boat to visit two villages located on the Mekong River’s bank: - Ban Xang Hai is famous for its “Lao lao” homemade alcohol and handicrafts – and      Ban Xang Khong a silk weaving village.  Then continue the speed boat trip to the “Pak Ou” site the well-noted caves for their hundreds of miniature Buddha sculptures. Back to the sanctuary city to have a restorative sleep.”

Day 5: LUANG PRABANG – HANOI
It’s the moment to admire one of Luang Prabang jewels: the National Museum (former Royal Palace) before to walk through the Phousi market.
Then we’ll trek to the jungle and reachKuang Si and Tad Sae two beautiful waterfalls (located near from Luang Prabang) are worth visiting and are popular in summer by young Lao who are accustomed to bathe dressed. But you will also enjoy to swim in the pristine natural pools surrounded by a magnificent nature. 
Stop at  Ban Quay and  This tribal village is noted in particular for its cotton and silk weaving and tourists can buy directly many hand-made products (fair minded trade), it’s an unforgettable encounter with authentic friendly people.
And let’s move to second destination: Vietnam, the land of the Dragons! After landing in Hanoi, we escort you to your hotel.

Day 6:
 HANOI CITY TOURS

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll have a full day city tour to the historical spots as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Ethnology Museum, Hanoi Flag tower and the Literature Temple: this ancient Sanctuary was built in the 11th century and was the oldest university in Vietnam. Then we take you to cultural highlights: - the mysterious One Pillar Pagoda with his famous lotus shape and understand his special meaning –  and follow us into the Legend of the Golden Turtle to see the Restored-Sword Lake surrounding the Ngoc Son Temple.When reaching the Tran Quoc Pagoda with its Buddha Tree, an amazing backdrop will be provided to you at sunset.
In the evening, the unique and enchanting Water Puppet Show will be performed for you, before to have wonderful dreams!”

Day 7:  HANOI – NINH BINH – TRAIN TO SAPA
Today you’ll discover Cuc Phuong National Park: Vietnam’s largest and first national park with thousands of species of plants and animals (a local park ranger will help you to distinguish). Here, you will enjoy the rewarding trip to the primate and turtle rehabilitation and breeding centers. We’ll also propose you embarking on a trek through the beautiful surrounding karst Mountains surrounded by centenarian trees and waterfalls. Back to Hanoi to take the night train to Sapa (via Lao Cai) for the next adventure!

Day 8: SAPA – Lao Cai – Tavan
After arrival early at Lao Cai and refreshing, let’s explore the Dragon Jaw Mountainto have at the top a panorama view of Sapa world-known for its terraced rice fields. By following this very popular trekking route passing through the Tavan village to meetGiay people to experience the daily life of this rural ethnic community. Back to have a well-deserved rest at your nice hotel in Sapa.

Day 9: SAPA – Silver Waterfall – Tafin– HANOI
After breakfast, let’s trek (by jeep or drive your own motorbike to enjoy the view) through the pine forest of the Dragon Jaw Mountain to reach the most romantic and highest waterfall of Vietnam. Well-called the “Silver Waterfall” because of its white water poured from 100 meters down the cool stream where guests can soak in. Continue the trip to Heaven Gate to spectacular view of the lush forests of Hoang Lien National Park and of the terraced rice fields of Sapa’s valley. Have a picnic lunch on the way to meet the colorful dressed “Red Dzao” in Tafin’s weaving village and the mysterious “Black Hmong” in a hamlet close to Tafin’s cave. To avoid wasting your time we’ll travel by the night train from Lao Cai back to Hanoi.

Day 10:
HANOI – HALONG BAY
From Hanoi’s railway station, our guide will drive you to the World Heritage Halong Bay. Now we are ready for next adventure: a cruise by jonque (a typical ship rigged with two bamboo-battened sails).                                                                                                                   
During 2 days and 1 night, feel immersed in the wonderful scenery of the Halong Bay, a skilful masterpiece of nature that turns thousands of schist and limestone islands into fantastic sculptural and artistic works of various graceful shapes.                                                                     After a seafood dinner, have a quiet night in your cabin on Deluxe Jonque.

Day 11: HALONG BAY – HUE

  • In the morning, forward with leisure activities: fishing, snorkeling or just jump into the emerald sea to get refreshed before lunch.
  • In the afternoon, transfer to Hanoi airport for a one hour flight to Hue. Explore the World Heritage City of Hue by boat on an evening cruise of the Perfume Riverto seesome Cham temples like Ho Chen with the magnificent scenery of Jade Cup Mountain beyond.
  • During the dining cruise, watch the sunset as you listen to folk songs and to the Royal Court Music (Nha Nhac) recognized by UNESCO. Fairy-tale overnight in Imperial City of Hue.

     

Day 12: HUE IMPERIAL– HOIAN
We will start by visiting the Imperial Citadel and the Grand Palace of the last dynasty. Next you’ll see the King Khai Dinh Tomb protected by the statues of his guard and the KingTu Duc tomb surrounded by gardens and hidden secrets. And have a glance on the Heavenly Lady Pagoda with it over 20 meter high tower and magnificent scenery beyond. On the way to Hoi An, we stopover at the stone-carving village of Non Nuoc to and have a unique view of the most pristine biodiversity hotspot: the Lang Co Lagoon more fabulous than in your dreams, before to take a rest at your hotel room in Hoi An

Day 13:
HOIAN – HO CHI MINH 
Walk tour around the quaint sections of Hoi An and the vibrant riverside market. Visit picturesque merchants' houses wonderfully preserved and the Chinese Hokkien Temple (built by migrants after the overthrow of the Ming Dynasty). But the most particular legacy of its History is reflected in the vestige of the 17th century’s Japanese covered bridge that was built on the back of a giant Dragon to avoid earthquake according to an ancient Legend. Then we take a flight to the next main destination: the big Ho Chi Minh City where your charming hotel is awaiting you.

Day 14:
HO CHI MINH City Tour

  •  In the morning: let’s immerse in Saigon History: the impressive War Remnants Museum, the unmistakable Reunification Hall of Independence Palace. We also visit major places like: the cathedral of Notre Dame, the ancient Post office built by the French in 19th century, before shopping in the typical Ben Thanh market.
  •  In the afternoon: after History Museum enter in the China Town district: the mythic Cholon with the venerable Binh Tay Market a unique blending of both French and Chinese architecture and Jade Emperor Pagoda, the heaven's gatekeeper, watching over woodcarvings and altars depicting scenes from Taoist and Buddhist myths. Back to your nice room, Saigon’s night is yours!


Day 15: HO CHI MINH CITY – CAI BE – CAN THO
On the way to the Mekong Delta, stop on My Tho to admire Vinh Trang Pagoda decorated with carved and gilded wood, and the Giant Buddha statues towering over the peaceful sanctuary grounds.At the next stage of our excursion in Cai Be, we start the cruise on the Mekong River to visit the floating market and small rice cake factories.
Continue boat tour into the canals through the mangroves to grasp the fairy sight of the Nine Dragons Rivers world.  After berthing on Binh Hoa Phuoc Island, have a walk around jasmine flowers gardens and rambutans, longans and mangoes’ orchards beside fish pounds and stilt houses. Final destination of the day in Can Tho to have a good night!

Day 16:
CAN THO – PHU QUOC 
From Can Tho, only a 50 minutes flight to Phu Quoc Island located in the turquoise water of the Siam Gulf. Full day relax in the tropical paradise of Phu Quoc, on stunning beaches in an untouched National park environment that offer a fantastic backdrop for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Among friendly locals, just chill out and enjoy the scenery and after dark, you can have and fresh seafood dinner at a beachside restaurant surrounded by the hypnotic lights from the fishers’ boats so numerous they look like a galaxy on the sea. Sweet dreams in your room!

Day 17:
PHU QUOC
One more day to discover the paradisiac site of Phu Quoc by motorbike trek through the National Park; or an island boat tour around pristine creeks like Suoi Da Ban and its white-waterpouring across some large majestic granite boulders to fresh pools and deep enough for a dip.Enjoy sea-sports: kayaking, kite-surfing and also traditional squids fishing (optional rentals). In the evening, have a coconut drink or a cocktail in the night market next to Dinh Cau Temple very popular here as many people come to watch the sunset near the sanctuary before the last overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 18:
PHU QUOC – CAN THO - CHAU DOC
Flight back to Can Tho and transfer to Chau Doc on the edge of the Mekong Delta and the stepping stone to Cambodia.  Chau Doc is also famous for its floating houses on empty metal drums;under each house, fish are raised in suspended metal nets and fed by the family. You can reach the floating houses from Chau Doc Park by small boat driven by locals. Last night in Vietnam before Phnom Penh.

Day 19:
CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH
Start the cruise to join the Cambodian Capital by speed boat (5 hours trip). Take a rest at your hotel in Phnom Penh. Let’s have a walk to discover the French colonial architecture along the riverfrontavenue before shopping in the historical Russian Market.

Day 20:
PHNOM PENH – Siem Reap – ANGKOR Wat
The visit of the main spots begin in the morning at Wat Phnom the founding place of Phnom Penh on top of a hill next to the riverfront. Climb up the stairs with the Naga balustrade and you will find the altar of Yea Penh (Lady Penh) the legendary founder of the city Phnom Penh. Have a glance on Independence Monument patterned on a lotus flower bud, adorned with multi-headed cobras, drop in the National Museum amongst over than 5000 objects on display including Angkorian era statues. The next-door place is the gold gleaming Royal Palace and some spectacular buildings within its compound: - the Throne Hall – the Napoleon II villa – and the famous Silver Pagoda including the “Emerald Buddha” adorned with 9,584 diamonds.
Then flight to Siem Reap to enter in one of the Seven Wonder in the World: the great Angkor Vat. This huge and incredible monument dedicated to god Vishnu in 12th century is only a part of the ancient capital of the Khmer Kingdom. You will be moved by the scenery of the temples complex admist the jungle and among them: Angkor Thomand the strange Bayon carved heads.At the end of the day, climbat the summit of mount Phnom Bakheng just before sunset for a panoramic view of Angkor and its fabulous backdrop.

Day 21:
ANGKOR WAT trek
At sunrise, continue the Angkor Wat trek in the archeological site of Roluos and to Naek Pean, replica of the Indian top of the Universe symbolized by the Curved Cobras’ Tower on a small island in middle of the main pound. You will be astonished in the sight of the majestic 60 meter high kapok trees enclosing the Preah Khan ruins with their vegetable tentacles. And Thommanon Hindu Temple’swell preserved carvings provides a distinct contrast to the surrounding jungle. From West Baray, the largest Angkor’s reservoir, we’ll have a cruise tour on the large Tonle Sap Lake through floating villages and the amazing biodiversity of this rich ecosystem.

Day 22:
ANGKOR WAT - Siem Reap
As a crowing final, we visit Ta Prohm: its fabulous background was use to shoot a scene for the movie “Tomb Raider”; and the two symmetrical shrines, Thom Manon and Chau Say alike in design and structure and twins also in ruin.  We’ll finish at a highlight spot: Banteay Srei Temple or the Citadel of the Women superbly well-preserved and highly intricate stone carvingsthat adorn the pink-hued sandstone of the delightfully intimate site. Last night and last dreams in your hotel room in Siem Reap.

Day 23:
SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE
Enjoy your free time have :a walk in the city to visit Khmer ceramics shops, butterfly gardens or just get a traditional massage to relax before leaving Cambodia.
